Terms and Conditions for In-Person Courses

Terms and conditions for training courses delivered in-person

Registration and payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless you opt to receive an invoice first.
  • Enrolments will be considered confirmed and the cancellation policy will apply once a tax invoice is issued. In order to assure quality training and service, numbers are limited. Please note payment is required to reserve and keep a place in our courses

  • PeakXD will not be responsible for any travel costs incurred by registered participants. We encourage participants to book refundable and flexible travel for all of our in-person training courses.
  • Payment by invoice: On Eventbrite, you can choose 'Pay by invoice' as the payment type - you will be emailed the invoice and your place at our course will be reserved. Full payment is due within 7 days of registration or the day before the first day of the event (whichever date comes sooner). Enrolments will be considered confirmed and the cancellation policy will apply once a tax invoice is issued. The invoice will be sent to the email address provided at registration and can be paid by credit card or by depositing funds into our bank account (as per instructions on invoice). Should you need longer than 7 days please contact us as we understand some large organisations and government departments may require more time to accommodate purchasing policies. Note a credit card processing fee will be charged if you pay the invoice by credit card.

  • Change of details: Registered participants can email us at any time prior to the course start date to update registration information (e.g. to change your personal details).
  • Transferring your ticket to a different person: You may transfer your ticket to another person, if you notify us 72 hours (3 days) or more prior to the event start time.

  • Transferring to a different course: For requests received 30 days or more before the course start date, registrations can be transferred to the same course on a different date, however this is subject to availability and may incur a 25% administration fee.
  • Discounts: Discounts and promo codes must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied after this time.

Cancellations and refunds

  • In the event that PeakXD postpones or cancels a course (e.g. due to insufficient numbers), attendees can elect to receive a full refund or have their payment transferred to a future course. We will aim to give at least 2 weeks notice in the event of cancellation due to insufficient numbers.

  • We reserve the right to change the venue to an equivalent standard and location within 5km of the CBD of the booked city.
  • From time to time, we may need to change the delivery format of a course (e.g., from in-person to virtual). If this occurs, the course content and learning outcomes will remain the same, and your registration will be automatically transferred to the new format. As the course will still be delivered in full, refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.
  • Cancellations, for any reason, received 30 days or more before the course start date will incur a 25% administration fee.

  • Cancellations received less than 30 days before the course start date are non-refundable, though registration may be able to be transferred to a different course or to a different person if more than 72 hours (3 days) notice is provided. If less than 72 hours' notice is provided, any changes will incur a $250 change fee to cover out-of-pocket catering fees.

  • Email training@peakxd.com.au for cancellations and transfers within the relevant timeframe. We will respond within 1-2 business days.

Sessions and recordings

  • The quality of our training to attendees is paramount. In the event the trainer is unable to attend (e.g. due to illness), we will endeavour to find a suitable replacement trainer. If this is not feasible, training will be postponed rather substituting with an inexperienced trainer.

  • All live courses are for registered participants only. Unauthorised recording, screen capturing, or redistribution of course content is strictly prohibited.
